Johnny might have made the comment, but he was not a mean-spirited person. I played Stump the Band with Johnny a long time ago and he even bought our lunch.
I like Wayne too, and he got his feelings hurt. Too bad. If he hadn't brought it up, I'm sure no one would have known or remembered it.
I have heard other celebrities say that as well.
Johnny had a lot of power in his day, and perhaps it went to his head.

That all happened so long ago, that nobody but Wayne probably even would have remembered it except for him bringing it up. If someone is in the public eye for any length of time, there will always be some rumor floating around. The fact that Wayne continues to feel "hurt" about it makes me wonder if there isn't something more to it. He did always have a high pitched, "girlish" voice into his early 20s...
