Question: How can MTV run such a trashy show like "Shot at Love with Tila Tiquilla" on a Sunday afternoon at 1PM?! I don't mind a little adult humor, maybe at 10:00 at night! Tila Tequila is just another example of Americas' low standards today. Come on, giving Grandma a lap dance? Several sexual encounters with multiple partners in one day? Wearing just enough clothes to cover about 1/4th her body? And this is the so-called "entertainment" our teenagers are feeding their minds during the weekend?!

I'm 17 and personally think some of the things she does and is about are disgusting. But I like to laugh at her. Most kids with their heads on straight aren't going to try to be like her.

I do not allow my kids to watch it. Quite frankly she makes me sick. I watched it one time just flipping through. I don't anything is cool about any show that makes people fight for someone's affection. Either someone likes you or they don't.
I'm not fighting with anyone for someone to love and appreciate me and I am trying to teach my children that as well. I don't have their heads in the sand I can assure you. One of my kids is in high school and the other about to be but I can assure you they have enough self love and respect that I don't believe you will ever find them on TV looking for love.
Calling her out for being Gay is rediculous in my opinion. We are not in the dark ages. When you judge others it shows insecurity in yourself. If you think the show is distasteful, be a good parent and screen what your kids watch. But if you have a bright kid, they probably are not going to rush out to be like "Tila" anyways especially if you instill good values in them. Personally, I dont care about the show, but it must have an audience or it would have been cut.

AMEN! I'm not totally against the idea of reality shows purely for the purpose of entertainment, but this show is the ultimate in sleazy, immoral, and tacky. We've become so immune to sex, violence, and sin on tv, that producers now think this is acceptable. Their only goal is making money. Pure greed. How about teaching values and positive reinforcement to our children for once?
The parents should be responsible and just monitor what their children watches as much as possible. If they do not want their children to watch certain things then they should be responsible adults by not letting them watch the shows. I do not blame the celebrities or producers of certain shows, I blame the irresponsible parents.
