She has a good voice ( i think) and she's attempting to become popular as Ashley Tisdale the singer, not Sharpay Evans the disney character. I think that if she tries to do this, the same thing will happen to her as did to Hilary Duff. Hilary Duff was far more popular when she stuck with disney as Lizzy McGuire. I think Ashley should stay with disney at least for 5 more years, and not try to venture off on her own.
