I am finding it rather strange that all these old boys are coming out of the woodwork to hawk their music around when in fact u can buy their albums which are cheaper and better. I mean who wants to see a lot of old wrinklies squirming about on stage. Are they doing for their pension or what?

not really, not into Deep Purple..but a total Zep junkie...is anyone else praying for a tour?!I saw Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation a couple of years ago and they did loadsa Zep tracks...they rocked

@JSTOR 16 you know nothning! were you born 30 years later? Deep Purple was a contemporary Hardrockband in the 70′s, the same generation as Led Zeppelin.
last nights gig has rave reviews from every music critic that saw them. older but still cutting edge L.Z.

I like Deep Purple, but the bands are two totally different levels, and they are two totally different time periods between activity and playing again. There is no comparison.
