Why do people give jessica simpson such a hard time?!
Question: Okay so she is a "dumb blonde" according to alot of people. That is the worse thing about her, seriously she is a good role model, doesn't get in trouble, is kind to her fans and doesn't flash her private parts. Why would you pick on a girl who isn't all that bad. Blaming her for the cowboys loss come on are people in the world that uneducated. Well say what you will but she is a nice girl and so what if she has said stupid things atleast she isn't on drugs and having young teens copying that.

I agree with you 100%. I think it boils down to pure jealousy. She's beautiful (and yes, there are other beautiful women out there, but they are not as famous) and can sing (her older stuff was better). She is a good role model and does not conduct herself like Britney or Paris or Lindsay. So what if she wants to play the dumb blonde all the time. Look what it did for Marilyn Monroe's career.
You make a good point about her being a good role model. I also think it is stupid about her being blamed for Tony Romo's bad game- but I also understand how superstitious sports fans can be- it's silly.
maybe because you could go to any high school in america and find ten girls with more talent that given a boob job would be at least as attractive as her
I don't have any issue with Jessica Simpson, but I can see why the media jumps on her - she had that reality show with Nick Lachey, and she constantly made herself out to be really dim-witted. Plus, her acting is terrible (Dukes of Hazzard -argh) and her singing is just okay. She has a line of shoes but they are all really tacky.
Now everything she does purposefully plays up the 'dumb blonde' roll she takes on. Once, maybe twice, it's tolerable, but at this point it's annoying.
Yeah, it's dumb to blame her for the football game, and she could be a lot worse, but I think it would be good if she had a great talent. There are plenty of dumb blondes with tacky taste. Why should we care about this particular one?
Yeah, I hope my daughter grows up to be stupid too. WTF!
Although with the alternatives, I am just keeping her away from the TV from now on.

They do it the same reason they do this to most celebs, etc. Its the same reason that big gossips talk about others.
Because they don't look as good, are not as talented, etc. etc.
They are just jealous. The worst haters, bashers, etc. do this to build up their meager sefl esteems. Most have very low self esteems, inferiority complexes, etc.
Tearing others down makes them feel important, even though all they seem to be able to do is squander around from behind their computers.
