The bf is 19 and she's 16. I believe that's statutory rape in most states. I'm very curious to see this issue brought up because of the case in either Florida or Georgia (I'm sorry that I can't recall all of the facts). It involved a black student who was convicted of having consensual sex with his underage gf. He was sentenced to several years in prison for this "crime".

I couldn't care less about Jamie Lynn, but it's only a three year difference ... a 19 y/o dating someone who is 22 certainly isn't a big deal, so I don't see why he would go to jail.

I saw on Access Hollywood, they said that he most likely would not be arrested because him and Jamie are close in age, and they have been together for a while now, I think 2 1/2 years.

no. when they first started dating they were both minors. and she let him knock her up. its her choice. unless jamie suddenly starts to press charges he's safe from jail, and she wouldnt becuase she needs help taking care of the child not finaicialy but in raising the kids, the spears women aren't very skilled mothers.
