Why is everyone getting so freaked about Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy?!
Question: Ok ya, she is pregnant at a young age, but everyone is freaking out. Its been on the news for two days or so (I think). Who cares!!!?? Its getting annoying to hear. I feel the same way about Britney.

I agree with you. Everyone is acting like this is the first 16-year-old girl in history to ever get pregnant. If Jamie Lynn was a 16-year-old BOY who got pregnant now that would be something to make a big deal about, lol.

Because her sister is one of the biggest, of not the biggest, name in Hollywood and she is famous, so naturally everyone freaks out. I agree with you though, but I do think that Jamie was stupid not to use protection.

She's on a kids tv show, and they see her actions outside the show. Dontcha think this will impact them? Especially if she is a role model!
they are kind of acting like a teenager has never been pregnant before ... but i think it is such a big deal because Britney Spears is in the public eye so much that anything her family does will be too .. it must be getting ratings for those networks and for the fact that she is on a childrens tv show and the message it sends .. honestly i think you should be more in control of your child because she is pregnant , Thats the parents job to teach their children the morals they want their children to have,and not Jamie SPears' responsibility

She is a celebrity and young girls who are her fans look up to her. It is a bad example to other young girls out there. Some of these impressionable girls may think that it would be cool to get pregnant. They will only see the glamorous pictures of Jamie Lynn throughout her pregnancy and the cute baby pictures after the birth.
It is not glamorous when you don't have millions of dollars and as many Nannies to help you as Jamie Lynn will. It is hard work and takes oceans of patience.

Considering how bad of a parent Britney is, I wouldn't count on her 10-year-younger sister to do much better. She seems to just be following in Britney's footsteps. She has no role model.
But I do think it's ridiculous that children are having children. I'm 16 but I really can't put myself in her situation because, like most people, I'm not as reckless as Jamie.
But I'm not freaking out over her pregnancy. I never freak out over anything celebrities do. I could really care less.
i think because every one was expecting good from her. she dint look like she would make a mistake, but she is human and she did. every one could help her, or hate her for it, she is going to be a mother know and she cant do much about it. she has to make her own decision and we should all hope its a good one. it is her fault because she was not so careful but we have to hope that she won't do the same thing Brit is doing. i love Brit to death but she has to get a hold of her life and help her younger sister with the biggest thing in her life. we just have to hope for the best
