Question: Bob Dylan is a pioneer. His style of lyric writing is the reason that music evolved so quickly in the '60's . His poetry and imagery that he put into songs were a quantum leap from the "doo wap" "i love you " lyrics that were prevalent in the 50's .
Sadly, we appear to have gone backwards in terms of lyrical content in the last 10 years.
