Why are people being so rude to jamie lynn spears?!
Question: I'm not an idiot, i know shes 16 and pregnant outside of wedlock, but everywhere i look there are mothers calling her a **** and people saying shes going to end up like her sister. at least shes not partying all night, smoking pot, drinking beer, and swallowing crank. it seems everyone is having sex before marriage, and she just happened to get pregnant. its a huge resposibility, yes, and she is too young, but at least shes not getting an abortion!! so really, why is everyone making such a big deal out of this?

Thank you, someone who makes sense! I completeley agree with you! Why are people so harsh on her, when about half of the teenagers in the world are getting pregnant everyday? At least she's not one to get an abortion and at least she's taking responsibility. I'm not saying what she did was right, but I am saying that she's not the only teenager in America that got pregnant. I guess it was probably because her sister got all the attention and maybe she watned some of the spotlight. But I send my best regards to her and I hope that she will be a better mother than Britney ever was.
shes a nickelodeon superstar, and she is supposed to be setting an example for young girls who watch her show everyday. i dont think its right for people to bad mouth her and im for her baby, but she is famous, and parents dont want that for their children,
a parent who puts their child down in front of nickelodeon opposed to MTV, does it for a reason...
Jamie Lynn is a role model for many children. She is the main character in the hit show Zoey 101 and tons of kids watch it. My little sister looks up to her, and she is setting a bad example for the kids who admire her.

Because the big sister is a train wreck and everybody feels superior and better than a Spears. I personally feel bad for the girl since her show is getting cancelled because of her pregnancy. She should have been more careful but hey thats life.
I agree, I think that people are kind of jumping on top of her when I think that they should at least show some support because of the choice she made.
Well, people will always gossip about famous people, so that's nothing new. I just think that people are kind of shocked because she has such a clean "Disney" image, so for her to get pregnant so young is kind of disturbing. Also, we can all see how troubled Britney is, so people are probably worried that she's heading down the same path. I feel kind of sorry for both Jamie Lynn and Britney... their family life must be kind of unstable.

I dont think it is JUST her age, I think people are mainly annoyed by the fact that she is probably headed down the same road as Britney, which means all of us are going to be stuck hearing about Jamie Lynn now. Constantly. Running around partying, getting into cars showing off her naked crack, driving with a kid in her lap and so on. Or atleast her own screwed up spin on things.
Its frustrating enough that the media doesnt give us a break from Britney, now here comes non stop Jamie. hell, just look at yahoo answers, the obsession and constant talk has already begun.
I dont think that the mothers are mad because of that. I think the reason why everybodys so mad and making a huge deal of this is because Jamie is supposed to be a huge role model for children & youth. Children now look up to what shes done, and thats what makes parents and people so madd. Also, the fact that she following the steps of her sister; making all the mistakes that Brittney has made. The whole thing id just messed up. I'm ashamed of Jamie, now!!

Its the same reason people direct hatred towards her sister or the likes of paris hilton. Deep down people are jelous of their lives, and so attack them in any way they can.
She basically lives how most people want to. She is rich, and will hardly have to work a day of her life. She gets drunk and party's whenever she wants to, as well as having sex whenever she wants. It annoys people and women in particular because they cannot conduct themselves in this manner within society. She can because being a rich celebrity IS NOT the same as being a nobody, people can tell themselves it is until the cows come home, but its just not true.
The fact is everyone knows people having sex under 18 and out of wedlock. Most peoples kids and relatives will do this, they can bury their heads in the sand, or educate them and accept it. Its not something they can control. All of these people in society are not whores, and so the people who are against it vent by attacking people like spears because they don't have the guts to attack somebody they know themselves, or anyone to their faces.
AND
The number 1 concern of these people should be that the baby is going to be safe. At least we know that she can afford a sitter and will have plenty of people to look after the child and take care of it with her, unlike some of the other teen pregnancy's.

While I won't use foul language or call her names, I refuse to think of her as some kind of teen hero either.
There is no reason to reward or value children having babies. She's offering a horrid example to millions of young people who don't have TV producers paying their bills. Most young pregnancies result in taxpayer bailouts in the form of welfare, mdicare, and food stamps.
We adults are tired to death of funding the irresponsible lifestyles of some young people.
I dont understand it...but i look at it like.would u want the nick star to be in tabloids @ the abortion clinic or would she be more of a role model going through with the pregnancy, people are just big hypocrites, they r always quick to judge, i actually a proud of her because she is showing that she is highly mature, i mean she could have aborted the baby and went own with her hollywood career

Anyways, it's just a coincidence that her and her sister both are making the wrong decisions and screwing up their life and careers. But, at the same time, Jamie asked for all this media coming at her bc she knew what she was doing and how people would react.
I still like her, even though she's screwed. I love her show and wish the best of luck to her. It happened. Now people need to cry themselves a river, build a bridge a get on with their lives. Obviously, the people who keep dragging this on and on have no life whatsoever and don't have anything better to do than sit around and complain and bash Jamie and Britney.
Seriously people, this stuff happens every day! Maybe this should be a wake up call for them and a sign America needs to do something about it.

At least her sis waited till she was over 18 and married till she got pregnant.
at 16 britney was still popular, but jamie already screwed up.
People would still be talking about her because of her age even if she were not a Spears.
Its well known within the pre teen world that Zoey 101 is one of Nickelodeons top shows and girls looked up to Jamie Lynn as a role model, especially how it was sorta portrayed in the media as Britney being the mess while Jamie being the smarter of the two.
Well the now the role model image of her has crashed and burned and she may have ruined her career. Sex does come with consequences and not just pregnancy.
So being she was held up to such high regard I can see why some mothers are a bit ticked and want Zoey 101 off the air, as she is no longer role model material to young girls.
