hellll naaa fresh prince put will smith on the spot light.. people were like whose that.. also its a classic.. hes had better roles no doubt but i think fresh prince wasnt on his bad half either
I think it was very good at the time (which by the way seems ages ago) but, yes compared to what he's doing now.....movies. He is an absolute A lister in my book!!!

SO weird. i'm watching it right now? are you watching nick at night. and NO...i think the fresh prince years were his best. all of his movies...he played the same character...and recently he's trying to break out into drama. it just weird me out because i see him and i want him to make me laugh. fresh prince is HILARIOUS.
Fresh Prince did wonders for Will Smith. It wasn't all goofy though, he actually did some serious acting. Like the prom episode when Carlton almost died from pills he took from Will's locker? He was awesome. And the episode(s) when he got shot? Another amazing performance. Yeah, he was funny in the series, but it also gave him opportunities to show that he was a real actor. Without Fresh Prince, who knows how far he would have gone.
