Why are there so many people claiming they've met/been with/know celebrities!

Question: Im well are they are people and ofcourse they know people who are not famous, but do you realy buy this crap about "I met angelina at the park and our kids play together" Or I've been with/kissed one of the jonas brothers" and so on?

what!! i dont care what you think!! madox jolie nd MY son are best friends so there!!! lmao.

yeh, i agree. I think some stories could be truth, but when people start realy exxagerating, you know its bogus.

Nope. And what I find even more funny is that people believe that we believe them.

Think of it this why, if I can lie over the internet and have done so, do you realy believe that I dont think you do?

lol. Whatever.

& why? Because it makes them feel important.

Wishful thinking.

whenever i read those i'm just like you wish. i HAVE MET the jonas brothers but all they did was give me a hug and was like hi and stuff. that's all. you can believe that but not weird stories

Because its simple enough to create a fantasy and easy enough to make it buyable, if you are obsessed, you know where they've been, where they are and where they will go. For instance, say jonas brothers were in boston 6 months ago, one of their flakey fans can answer with "I saw them outside of a hotel in boston last month, they kissed me on the cheek and yahyahyah" whatever sounds good. And someone might think.... 'well they were in boston at that time, so its probably true'

Behind the screen anything can be said, but its unfortunate when they think we believe them.

Interestingly enough, all the people that claimed they met celebrities are no where to be seen now.

Wishful thinking.

But I really did meet Mariah Carey at the Mall of America in 2005. It aired on The Today Show. Also I meet the group from Popstars, Scene 23 also at the mall of America in Minnesota.

They are just people like you and me, there's no reason to be jealous about it, they also have to work and there's much more involved then just passing the till to collect the money, some even risk their lives like stuntman & woman.

I think it's possible that some people have met celebrities. It's not that hard to see a famous person in a store or something and meet them. They're just normal people. But then people come on the internet and rub it in everyones' faces, even though the majority of people online would not believe them because it's the internet. Anyone can lie or say anything, but people would never know if they're telling the truth or not. But honestly, I think if someone knew a celebrity personally, they wouldn't go on the internet bragging and telling everyone about it.. I know I wouldn't.

No. But my friend and her kids met Daniel Radcliffe the day after the Goblet of Fire Premiere. He was on his way to the airport but stopped to talk...that's the truth.
