I actually don't know. They're not exactly rock, but they're not really pop either. So I would say, somewhere in the middle like.. rock/pop. I kind of think "rock" has changed in it's meaning since a few decades ago, but that's just how it is. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with rock or pop, though.
I personally love the Jonas Brothers' music, regardless of whether it's rock or pop, or whatever else it may be. Their songs vary from happy and fun, to deep and meaningful, and I think it's a good thing for a band to have variety in their music and lyrics. You can listen to the Jonas Brothers' music in whatever mood you're in, and it has the power to cheer you up, and get you through the tough times.
i think that their music is like pop/ rock so its like a cross between both. my brother says that it is pop trying to be rock.
but none the less i love their music! it's awesome! (: so much fun!
