Britney Spears Grandmother Committed Suicide, Age 31- Is there any Correlation?!
Question: In the same way that Marilyn Monroe`s life was supposed to have been a blueprint for that of her tragic ancestors, Britney Spears it is now claimed has a grandmother who committed suicide age 31.
From this are we to deduce that she too is nuts and that the abusive behaviour and allegations of child abuse are some sort of inherited tendencies?
If so, I have to speculate about the connivance of pushing people ahead who have family skeletons so as to get some press mileage out of it years later.
This is a nasty invasion of performers` privacy and if true reflects even worse than usual on the power of the media etc.

She did commit suicide but NOT at 31.
Britney was close to her , and was really shattered when she died :\
I mean, all lynn spears wanted was money, and britney only had grandma spears for support and stuff in everyday isuues :(
I don't think it's possible. Her parents would have to have been in jr. high when they had Britney in order for her to have a 31 yr. old Grandmother who committed suicide. Unless of course, Britney wasn't even born yet. In which case, how could that influence Britney?
There is no evidence to prove suicidal tendencies are hereditary.

No, if you read about it you'd know her Grandmother killed herself because her child died and she never got over it, just because a relative commits suicide doesn't mean their decendents will! It depends on each person's strength and what happens to them in their lives. My mother tried to commit suicide when I was a child, I don't think it means I'm anymore likely to end up killing myself, how can anyone know what our ends will be since we can't predict how each persons life will go.
We learn from our parents and family how to be in the world - so if a person comes from a family where there is disturbed behavious and unhappiness, it follows that they will be more likely to feel disturbed themselves.
sadly, many thouseand of people come from families where there is some unhappiness and few of them are famous. I guess as a celebrity you have to expect that the press will dig up whatever they can find. It is interesting to look at people's lives and see how closely they resemble their parents and grandparents.
As a therapist I would say that it is more difficult for people to be positive and strong when they come from a difficult background than it is to be secure and happy. But it is possible to change the pattern - providing there is support and goodwill.
wow if i had that type of mental instability in my family i would so not do drugs no fall out of night clubs and not marry a man who has no job and i have millions but then again i wouldnt do that stuff anyway
Probably not. Britney will have lead a completely different life to her grandmother so I really doubt it. Britney needs to be taken away and made to get better, for her own and childrens sake, she is quite clearly very sick.
