Question: Is that for celebrities or is that used for people who want to become celebrities or what? I went to it today online and it said sign in and it cost like 15 dollars and some change, I was just wondering if that was for info. on celebrities or if that was used for people who wanted to become celebrities too. IMDb is like an encyclopedia of everyone who's been in a movie or television, past and present, cast, crew, and characters. Some actors have photos on their pages. Many TV shows have complete episode lists with synopses and who was in it. Another neat feature is when you type in a name, there's a schedule of when that person will appear on TV in the coming week so you don't miss any appearances, but it's not 100% complete and accurate.
It's great for trivia and for answering a lot of the questions here.

It's just info of celebs type in a name on search and it says all of the movies, shows etc they have done

I think the thing you saw that you have to pay for was IMDB Pro.
You don't have to pay just to register and get a log-in. YOu probably saw the IMDb pro. I use it all the time to find out info on varous stars and movies.
well imdb is the internet movie data base. It has all the info you need to know about actors, and movies. It is free but costs money for imdb pro. people who work for movies might use that to get extra info such as talent agent addresses or the box office scores of movies. but you don't have to pay.
