some people very easily pick up on another's accent, without even knowing they are doing it. She has lived there for a long time...
its like if your around a certain lingo long enough it can rub off on you...but an accent like the British grows slower on a person than hers did, hers was like it was over night!Look at the British people that moved to the States, they dont have an American accent after living here for a few years.I believe she has her accent on purpose and I dont believe her daughter talks with an accent either but its hard to tell sense we never hear her say anything.
