Do you think Sylvester Stallone is too old to play Rambo?!
Question: No. The dude is still buff,and, granted, he probably has a lot of black dye in his hair, but I am not going to knock him for doing Rambo. I am looking forward to seeing it. Who do you know has that physical shape for their age? People will knock him, but I won't. I have liked most of his movies, and want to see this one.

No...because the story line will have John Rambo older as well.....why take the original cast member and get some young guy who will screw the movie up....besides, why would Sly not do it himself since he is one of the writers...he wanted Rambo back, just like Bruce Willis wanted McCain back.....

I know he wasn't the original choice to play that character. Mike Nichols wanted Dustin Hoffman but he wasn't interested because he felt the movie was too violent. It would have been interesting if "First Blood" had been made 10 years earlier, like it was intended. That was at the height of the Vietnam War and the story would have had a greater significance than it did when the movie finally came out in 1982.
