For your information... the amount of money I give doesn't make me a good person. For instance, how much money have you given to a charity? Bet it hasn't been 500,000... if we go with your way of thinking... your not as nice of a person as Britney Spears.
I appreciate her contribution and it was indeed a very nice thing for her to do. However, if she wants this spotlight of bad publicity off of her, she better start thinking about her kids, her life, and her health a lot more.
No one doubts she is nice, I just doubt she has her head in the right place.

That's great, but it's not the public's fault for viewing her as a bad mother and a bad person. She has done other things that are so stupid. I guess it pays off. Or maybe it's just a way to buy people's pity so people would give her some respect.
Oh, ok. In that case then it is ok for her to act the way she does. I'm no Spears hater, but ya gotta admit, the Spears sisters don't exactly have the type of behavior I'd want my daughters to have. Charity or no charity.
Well that is generous of her. But I think it is more important that she takes care of her own sons right now. Throwing money around to make yourself look good doesnt really impress me. Sorry, still think she is a train wreck and a terrible mother.
funny i just read her court documents discussing how much she made in a year and what she spent it on (in order to determine the proper amount of child support) they found that she had only given 500 bucks to one charity in the year 2007. So....not impressed.
No I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing. Britney isn't all bad, she is just going through a terrible time. I feel really sorry for her, I hope that she turns her life around.
By mid-2008 Britney will be back as a force to be dealt with...She really is a nice person..Its the way the media shows her..That makes ppl think she is a s***, and a horrible mom. None of this is true..She DOES love her kids...she just has problems MANAGING them the "right" way.

Sounds great, but I've never heard of the Brittney Spears foundation. Police and Firefighters were affected by 9-11? They were killed and the ones who survived lost loved ones - you are affected by a cold or the flu, you are permanently scarred by terrorism. The donation is not so huge a deal when you are a Multi-Kajillionaire. Have you ever heard of a tax rebate for charitable donations? Britney giving $500,000.00 is the equivalent of me giving $200.00 - less than one day's pay. She should pay for her sister to get an abortion, she should pay for a surgery to get her and Jaime's tubes tied so she can't mess up any more kid's lives. She should use her money to get counseling for her kids for when they get older and realize their mom's a whore with the talent of a low-grade porn-star. Do your parents a favor - read something other than People magazine and start studying so they aren't supporting you into your 40's.

I've never been a "Brittney hater", but I am not impressed with the way she's been conducting herself in recent years.
Yes she's a popstar and has to deal with alot of stuff but that doesn't excuse her behavior.
Giving to charity doesn't make all her bad deeds go away.
It's good that she's giving back, but seriously she needs to worry about fixing her own problems before giving to charity.
In my opinion she has too many things that she has done badly, and they outweigh the money she may or may not be giving to charity.
And even if there is such a foundation, she isn't really the one in charge.
She'd be more like the honorary chairperson, because it looks good.
There would be someone who isn't famous and who actually knows how to run something like that who is actually in charge.
Brittney is probably too wasted to know what's going on with the charity.
