Yeah, She's in The Guiness Book of World Records for it.
She did during a performance of "Emotions",but I believe the one Guiness recorded was the G#7 she hit during a performance of the National Anthem.They said the note was inhumanly possible.

Yes, I have been a fan of hers from day one. She is incredible, but I like her earlier stuff much better. The last few albums do not showcase her real vocal ability enough for me.
