Means a "stalemate" or a "draw"....No one wins. In her case it means she refused to give her kids to her ex's bodyguard when her appointed visitation time came to an end, and she refused to hand them over for about 3 or 4 hours...If they hadn't been her kids it probably would have been called a hostage situation, they might call it that anyway, not sure.
