Why are people obsessed with Daniel Radcliffe?!
Question: I am a fan of Harry Potter (I've read all the books and seen all the movies) and while Dan is a good Harry, he's not "hot" or the best actor in the world.
Yet so many people say "he's soooooo perfect, they want to marry him, etc." I don't understand it. He looks like an average kid.

true!! he acts good in Harry potter, and thats it!
i mean harry potter main success wasnt because of just him, it dominates many people too, which tend to be forgotten!
and i can guarantee, that if Daniel had stop playing harry, its must be a BIT difficult for him to play other character, in my opinion!
and last the people who said that he is a good actor, of wanna married him, blah blah carp, are mostly a childish teenager, who doesnt understand anything about talent, actors or movies!
who knows what lies in the hearts of those people. he does nothing for me either sorry.

Agree!!! Being a celebrity or just plain having a lot of money apparently improves peoples looks, whether it makes them hotter, younger, taller, and/or stronger.
I agree... and I'm a really big fan of Harry Potter (books and movies) but I don't see Daniel Radcliffe as the hottest thing ever. I know it is not something he would like as an actor but he will always bee seen as Harry to me!!

All celebrities are just average people, they're all just over rated. They may be very talented, but they're just doing their job.

You're right, he is average looking, but people love him because of his british accent.
But I must admit, he is a pretty good actor. Take into consideration the most of the scenes in those movies were shot on green screens where he had to act like he was in a place, but some weren't. And he did a good job at showing Harry's pain and stuff. But I'm not trying to be mean to you or anything because I agree with you about the average looking thing.

He's deffinately a talented actor (i give him props for venturing out from harry potter) and he is attractive... i mean come on have you seen pics of him from Equus?! No he is not the hottest celeb, but hes in the top 20 hands down.

dan is no average boy...whilst he's not super hot or sexy-emma thinks he's sexy in his own way-ootp LA prem-i agree.he has piercing blue eyes and a nice toned bod-but also,he has such nice manners and a real gentlemanly attitude tht make any women swoon.
