Because they marry and divorce at an alarming rate. If they changed their name EVERY time, we'd never be able to tell who they were without seeing a picture.

Their name is a brand and they don't want to change the name of their brand and make it less noticeable.
lots of regular people do not take their husbands last names and use hyphenated names for themselves and children....
brad and angelina aren't even married they're fornicators. most celebs that are married usually keep they're maiden names for professional reasons and use their married names in private,but the taking of the husband's name was to show that his wife was his property anyway.
When people like Pamela Anderson get married, every other month. It's kinda hard to keep up with her, let alone if she was to take on her new hubby (of the month) last name.
What makes you think their kids all have 2 last names? Just because Shiloh Jolie Pitt does, doesn't mean all celebs do that. There's a lot of none celebs (your every day folks) that give their kids 2 last names, have you never met any one that is a Green-Lang or a Smith-Jones. Often an unwed couple like to give their child both last names, and as far as female celebs goes. If Nicole Kidman had become Nicole Cruz, we would all know her as that and now that she has remarried.
Now we all have to go calling her Nicole Urban, and look at all the time Liz Taylor was wed 8 in all. In the world of celebs it's just so much easy to stick with just one last name.....
