You make a very valid point.
But if they actually talked about facts then it would be harder to keep people in the dark...about such things as the North American Union and the fact we no longer have any civil liberties any longer.
The same five companies own almost all of the news outlets, so everything is indeed the same junk. The ultra wealthy sure want to keep the status quo.
Isn't it sad that all this stuff is posted about celebrities lifestyles, diets, etc., yet they never mention the names of soldiers who died in Iraq that day?
And we are just given certain candidates to be president, and that's it?
I got rid of my TV and just won't participate in it anymore. At least on the internet one can actually research the news, and not have it reguritated by talking heads.
