Re-doing bedroom? Teen celebrity style? (A question for girls ages 13-16)?!
Question: Hey everyone. My family is going to be moving by the time my birthday rolls around (July), and my mom said I can re-do my new room however I want. I want my room to have a lot of my favorite celebrities in it. I'm a HUGE fan of Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers (especially Nick), Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Cody Linley, and the other disney stars. I already have about 250 posters, so my walls would be pretty much filled.
The question is: is there any room decor that has to do with disney that you reccomend? I'm 13, so I don't want it to be really babyish. Thanks so much in advance.

I have a lot of ideas but you should go with kind-of a modern fun look. (if that make sense.) Like paint your walls bright pink (or a bright of your favorite color) and then fill ONE whole wall of you posters and then have like your bed placed on that wall as like a focal point. Since you're gonna have a lot of posters its gonna be busy, so don't set out a bunch of junk and keep things very bright, fresh and mod. Go with a color scheme that will make the colors in you poster pop. *(and stick with those colors, don't go crazy with the rainbow). Pick out a cool bedspread (pottery barn teen has some great ones. *I like the poka dots) Go to www.pbteen.com for ideas. try using these colours to help you choose a COLOUR SCHEME. You don't want all different unmatching colours flying all over the place!
try the disney store and some toy store we found stuff that was neet for my 13 yr old and i let her choosr what she wanted so it wasnt baby i know what u want wal-mart is a good place to start
that sounds totally awesome. first of all, good luck. since you have like tons of posters, put them on your walls AND your roof. it'll be completely awesome. i mean, you look up, and see posters. you can put like one wall for Hannah, one for Jonas Bros (maybe one specially for Nick if you want), one for Dylan and Cole, one for Cody. colors like dark red, green, brown, gold are good for painting the walls. you won't be able to see the walls much so that not really a priority. the sheets for your bed, don't make them disney. make them a cool pattern. make your furniture match or else it'll look too tacky from all the colors on your wall. good luck again. chao!
you can have diff types of poser on each wall paint the furniture and make card braod and paper frams 4 sum of the posters

Oh, and she is 11. Shes close to your age. Not sure if your interested in this stuff, but if you are, then Im glad I could help.
Also, you should check ebay.com and type in Hannah Montana or Jonas Brothers and see what items come up.. even if you cant use ebay, its worth it to get ideas and check the stores you like to shop in to see if they have what your looking for.
Decorate it like however you've always wanted to--color, furnishings, etc, or you could do it like Miley Cyrus's room in her show, which looks really cute--and then cut off everything but the square with the featured celebrity in each poster and frame them all. If you want you could also get an artist to do a mural on your wall of, like, a red carpet or something. Remember, make sure you decorate your room so that you can grow into it. Don't make it the kind of bedroom that you'll hate when you're sixteen. Good luck and have fun moving!
