Is it true that the camera makes celebrities look 10 lbs. bigger & makes their s!

Question: I would see a celebrity who looks light skinned (almost white-skinned), & then when people see them in person @ concerts, they say how that celebrity is a caramel complexion & skinnier.

Sometimes it kinda make them look wider and twenty pounds fatter. Also, my old tv made everyones butt seem bigger. It depends on what tv it is and who it is. Its mostly always different

yea it does...I've met and seen a few celebs in person and they look super skinny and much darker. Some of them are much shorter than they look on camera too. I think the camera adds more than 10 pounds because some of celebs were tiny in person but they look like 15 plus pounds bigger on tv.

no they look the same size and the lights and all the makeup they use makes them look lighter. Look at Little Kim and Mary J. Blige.

I read somewhere why it is that most of us look heavier on camera, but I don't remember the details. As far as skin color, I am not sure of that. I usually look a little heavier than I think I am in picutres but my skin tone looks about the same. BTW I am white and pretty light skinned anyway.

Nah. It doesn't do anything for Daniel Radcliffe, he's just as skinny on film as he is off.
