It's not pathetic or egotistical. She is exactly the right person to have her own network. Here's why: She has many fans, she does charity, she raises awareness about important issues, she works fun topics into her show like celebrities and fashion, she has a VERY large audience base, she's different from most talk show hosts, she has a lot of experience, she has the means and money to do it...
If I didn't know better, I'd say you were sexist and/or racist. Let's hope not. Since when did skin color or genitalia decide who a person was, and what they were capable of doing?
