Do Simon, Randy and Paula listen to all auditions in every city?!
Question: Or do they just listen to some of them? The reason I ask is that there was like 80,000++ people auditioning in one city alone! They would have to endure millions of auditions which I don't think is possible... Anyone?

There is a screening process with a few sets of producers before they go to Simon, Randy and Paula. The producers have a set limit of good, bad, and horrible to pass on for the program. Simon, Randy and Paula do listen to auditions in every city, but not the thousands and thousands that are filling the stadium. They actually screen about 400-800 people over a 2 day shooting schedule per city.
I asked the same question today, but we don't know!
I think there are probably a lot of screeners and they only let the very good, the very bad, and the very peculiar through to the last panel!

No, they are judged prior to them. They only put the ones that they think people would like to see on with them. Its a ratings thing and their time is expensive!!
They said to one girl today that she was brave enough to do it in front of them... I don't know if that meant they have a choice. If they did I don't know why anyone would pass it up...
But knowing someone who tried out a few years back, I know not everyone sees the Big Three. There are screeners, but I don't know how they move on to the 3-headed monster.
They only listen to some of them and beside they do have a cut off time, so every one can not be seen.
They tell people on the show during the round 1 auditions, "Well you made it this far" which tells me that they must have a process of screeners to allow the truly talented and the not so talented ones get through. They have ratings to meet and we as people have to laugh and poke fun at how ridiculous some people can be.
From a previous season I think they said they only listen to about 180 people from the 80,000 weirdos that attend the auditions.
God can you imagine how many times they get to here "My heart will go on" by Celine Dion...
