Here's what I think about Oprah. She donates money and everything to these places and she does wonderful things, but she isn't very humble about it. Personally if she donated towards charities and good causes I think less of a deal should be made about them. The more of a deal she makes, the more popularity and fame she gets.

Pretty much Yes. I have never figured out what the big deal was. I see her as the high priestess of the pervasive personality cult we worship now. I guess I am an apostate.
I like her. I think she uses her time and money to help others. Yea she does promote herself but don't we all.
When I grow up ( I'm 52), I want to be just like Oprah. I'm sorry you are tired of 'hearing' about her. If there were more people like Oprah in the world, maybe the world would not be in the disaster it's in. If I had that much money, started two schools in South Africa, had my own T.V. show, support the candidate of my choice (I also am voting for Barak Obama), give to organizations that are important, care for people, have my own network ...
Do I really need to continue? I love to hear about Oprah. Everything you hear about her is positive. We need to hear positive things, and not sad, terrible things which we hear about everyday in the news.

I'm very tired of all the negative questions about her or the complaining, like your question as least the things going on in her life is POSITIVE, unlike Paris, Lindsey, and that damn Brittany Spears. Brittany personal life is sickening, in the media every single day you want to be sick of someone be sick of her!!!!! Oprah got it going on and I'm proud of her.
