I didn't even know they exsisted. As far as I am concerned, everyone should just cross the picket line and screw them all. They don't need them.

I support them. They are striking for better pay and benefits, as every employee should have the right to do. That you can't watch a ridiculous tv show is not very significant. Perhaps your venom would be more appropriately directed to the writers' employers who forced this issue to a strike.
Ya but remember this, it gave rise to the reality show, Big Brother. And BB is on again Feb12.
Calling them jerks seems a little harsh. Those writers wrote Prison Break and they probably got jerked around by the owners and said I'm not writing anymore until you treat us better. The cost of labor is expensive and I think you'll be seeing a lot more of this in the years to come.
