She has been battleing depression for the longest..Sometimes she takes too much medication...But she is a good girl

i know.. on american idol on the first episode she took like 5 minutes trying to explain to the guy that he sucked and couldn't find the right words.. i love her though. her problem is that she sleeps about 2 hours a day. it was on one of her hey paula episodes. that's the only reason she acts like that. she lives off of caffeine and coffee and doesn't sleep. who wouldn't act like that if they did that? i just hope she turns this around before she embarrasses herself even more or gets really sick.
she might also have an addiction to pills, which is much more serious, and i'm hoping that's not what it is.

I believe she is taking pain medication. For what I'm not sure.
I think she's got a painkiller addiction. I know she admitted to one last year, but said she had it under control. I really don't think she does.

Here's the thing: probably nobody here on YA knows Paula Abdul personally. How can we know if she's OK, and, more importantly, why should we care? She's not a friend or relative and she doesn't know we're alive.

Hmmm, well, maybe she's just going through a mood swing. I don't think she would try drugs. Drugs are for stupid dumb people and she is NOT dumb. And I'm sure she drinks responsibly.
She seems better on AI than last year this time. But it was filmed last summer, so I don't know if things have changed since. Maybe it's hormones. You could have just described me, and I am not having drinking or drug problems.
I agree she's stoned sometimes on something , and often some people become overly sentimental when drinking so I suspect she has some sort of abuse problem .

That's what women are in Hollywood. The reason why she's in AI is to find some handsome-guy-singer-performer who would happen to get linked to her in the end.
I think the media is making a big deal about the way she looks, I think she just gets a little tweaked and emotional when she puts somebody down. Doing that to singers who are looking for a break and being in the same field of work as you could make you an emotional basket case. I sorta feel sorry for her, cuz I think she's a very good person.
