In reference to Heath Ledger?!

Because unfortunately in our society it seems that celebrities are put on some kind of a pedestal which is sad. I am saddened by the loss of Mr. Ledger as well but I understand what you are saying. RIP Heath Ledger and RIP little Mary :-(

I don't know this Mary, but many people know Heath ledger and naturally these people including myself reacted with shock and sadness to his death.

ok, well i didn't know 'little mary' but ive watched so many of heaths movies that you kinda feel like you know him, im so shocked.

Heath was one of my favorite actors ever. And..its because hes famous and lots of people know who he is.

When we watch people time and time again in movies, and magazines, newspapers, the net, all of that, we feel connected to that person, and yes, we kind of feel like we know them.

That's the reason why people are so horrified to hear of their deaths.

Not many people in the world know of little Mary down the street.

Celebritism is i believe sad and we can only blame the public in general for contributing in the way of being so fascinated with these people, buying up magazines etc., granted most have been blessed with some or other talent but to idolise them is sad!

Well, no one knows who little Mary is and no one has told us she died, so how are we supposed to cry for her? When a celebrity dies, everyone talks about it because we kinda feel like we know them, or at least know who there are so it's only obvious that people will be talking about them.

Oh but many people did grieve over little Mary. Her parents were heartbroken, the neighbourhood came to a standstill and all those who knew her turned up at church to pay they respects.

Heath Ledger will just have a wider and bigger crowd showing their respects because he was more well known.

I agree.....these Hollywood actors/actresses shouldn't be looked upon as role models or gods....most of them are psychologically screwed up in one way or another.

Oh wait...I got one.....BrokeBack Druggee!!! :) I'd pay to see that!! :) This time star Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. :)
