Do you grieve the loss of great actor Heath Ledger?!

Question: I quite liked him. I must admit that I grieved a little at the announcement of his passing.

Answers: I quite liked him. I must admit that I grieved a little at the announcement of his passing.

Yes, I do. I remember seeing the news yesterday and literally for ten minutes all I could think or say was "oh my God, I can't believe this.....yet another great actor, great person, and wonderful father has been taken"

It is so sad because he dedicated his life to his passion of not simplying playing a character but actually being the character. He was so loved, is greatly missed, and my regards go to his family back home in Australia and to his daughter Matilda.

Heath Ledger

April 4 1979-January 22 2008

We all did. I don't think I can watch Monster's Ball for a while. You know he was killing himself in that movie).

So sad......

Yes, he was a great actor. R.I.P. Heath.

I did. I was never a fan or anything but I wouldn't argue that he was talented and anyone dying that young and with children is a real tragedy. I hope his family and friends are able to get closure.

I was so shocked. He is the joker in the new batman movie. did they finish shooting.

I've adored Heath Ledger since his appearance in the short lived TV series "Roar". He was an immense talent even then, and he grew immensely in the years since. In my book, he's one of the greats of all time and I grieve for the loss of him as well as what his poor family must be going through. He will be greatly missed by many for decades to come.

Peace.

Definitely. :(
I was in complete shock...I heard the name & I was like oh he sounds familiar. I looked it up on google & saw he was the star of some of my favorite movies: knight's tale & patriots, & his role also in 10 things i hate about you. I started crying because it was so sad. He was also a very handsom young man. He would've went very far in life.
R.I.P HEATH!

Yes, I am going to miss seeing him in movies. I was very saddened when I saw the announcement on Yahoo last night. It will bitter sweet to see him as the Joker in "The Dark Night". Yes, they did finish filming it.

I thought he was so attractive when I first saw him in 10 things I hate about you. I really had a crush on him. So sad and painful for his family, especially his daughter and mother of.

I think he was very talented and cheerful. What a tragic loss for everyone who loved him, including his fans. There is nothing more unsetteling than to see someone so young and with some much ahead be cut down right before his prime. So sad.

I didn't really know him.

So... sorry-- but no.

From what people write on here he sounded pretty good though...

Yes, but now he'll become a legend like so many actors who went too soon.

I will probably see Batman when it comes out, just like I saw Queen of the Damned.

Yes, I definetly do and the more I see it on the news the more sad I become when I think of his little girl and all the things they'll never do together now he's gone.

I am actually very upset about it, I was a big fan and it's looking like it was accidental which just makes it even worse.

My thoughts are with his family and friends and all who knew him personally, a sad time for a lot of people today.
