Is it okay to be a wannabee celebrity, emulate their style and be fake?!

Question: I mean, why not? If they look great, why not look great yourself?

Isn't looking like Britney Spears (in 1999) or Angelina Jolie much more flattering than looking like Mary J. Average Smith, or John T Doe?

People criticize the fake people and celebrities, Hollywood and all that is L.A., but yet, what are they trying to accomplish? Get everyone to look "real"? OH yeah, have everyone look HOMELY, yeah that's it.

I don't think we should all boycott hollywood and fashion,

but I also don't think we should all end up looking like Joan Rivers.

Isn't there a happy medium?

Anyways, It seems to me that if you're from anywhere BUT California and maybe New York City, and you look like a fake person or a celebrity, people will laugh or think you're weird.

Why is it that only in these two spots are you allowed to be fake?

I'm all for it because it's fun, and you only have one life.

Why be a miserable ugly average wench?

i think that as long as your personality is your true personality and you're not acting just like celeberties, sure you can look like them. maybe looking EXACTLY like them would be weird, but copying their style i think is perfectly acceptable. however i don't think that we should worry about fashion adn style 24/7.

just my opion.

I know I'm more attracted to "plain" people. I like the conservative, "I'm not an attention whore" look. People who need attention generally end up having mental problems later on, and who needs that?

It is okay
