true that, lol old avril used to touch on real subjects and stuff but i think When You're Gone is pretty much the last of the good songs, sure her new songs are catchy but its just like Soulja Boy's song Crank dat, there's nothing behind it

She seemed to be a sweet and simple girl who used to sing great! Now she has changed a bit, seems like a bit of Ego has crept in and she is getting affect by a bad influence also!
Maybe she is intentionally trying to go for the Bad Girl image cos thats what sells today! I would love to have the old Avril back! She was like a breath of fresh air in the Western Music scene, but now getting stale i guess! Sad.........

I think she is the same still. You are just noticing that she is HAPPY! She was so anti-social before but now that she is married and GROWN up she actually sounds better and is singing about normal common stuff.
She was never punk and never will be. And, no, I don't miss her...I'd rather listen to Paramore than that piece of crap.
People change. Its a fact of life. If you were a singer, would you be singing the same music when you were a teenager as when you were an adult? I think not. She grew up. I think she was a great singer then, and shes a great singer now.
