Why are people disrespecting Heath Ledger by trying to view him?!

Question: I think that the paparazzi and all the media are being disrespectful because he was young, died suddenly he was well liked and his family needs this time to grieve and find out what happened and the media and paparazzi are trying to sell pictures and make money so it is disrespectful.

i havent heard of anybody doing that but i think its not very nice 2

Because people have no sense of decorum...they are only thinking about what they want (out of fandom or creepiness) not about the effect of their actions

Well people are fasinated with celebrities.I'm not sure
they mean to disrespect him but are merely shocked
with what happened and so many people liked him its
hard to see such a young starlet be buried.I think that people
are just mourning his loss.Although it might seem disrspectful.

You mean they are trying to see Brokeback Mountain?

Some people have a morbid curiosity. They are drawn to things like accident scenes etc. just so they can say they saw it.

Others are actually grieving and feel a connection to the deceased, even if they didn't know him personally. They want to have closure and this is the only way as far as they are concerned.

What both of these groups sometimes fail to remember is that everyone is human - even celebrities. They come from families who are in shock and are grieving. It is hard enough to process a child's death - but wit the throng of press and looky-loos, it must be surreal.

I haven't heard of that either but may he rest in peace.

Because people like to sensationalize these things. I saw a woman on t.v. yesterday who claims that she used to work for Naomi Campbell and that she was friends with Heath Ledger. Her story is that he would do hard drugs for 7 hours straight and that he asked her to buy drugs for him. This was on Inside Edition (not very credible) and I thought that she was very disrespectful.

I thought this was normal....like a last goodbye type thing. It's called a 'Wake'. When ever there has been a funeral in my family there is always a Wake the day before so people can come in and privately say there last goodbyes. They leave flowers and pray for the persons soul. I don't think that is strange it gives some people a since of closure.
