Is Nagesh Kukoonoor's career on the slide after making such rubbish as Dor a!

Question: Nagesh Kukoonoor impressed us with movies like Hyderabad Blues, Iqbal and Theen Divaren. What has happened? Why did he decide to turn mainstream and produce crap? Does an excellent artist really have to comprimise his style and direction?

Initial success has gone to his head. Lost his creativity.
Succumbed to commerciality. Downslide.

I havent seen Bombay to Bankgkok, but I have seen Dor and it is a really good movie. He even got a few critics' awards

i think kukunoor is also like sanjay leela bansali a victim of falling pray to a bad script and falling for it and executing it i think he should be given a chance or two for he has not just one in a flash pan kinda good movie he has more also if he keeps coming up with crap he will lose his reputation and go into oblivion much like many directors do in the highly compeditive bollywood

Dor is not rubbish. it is an excellent movie.

BTB maybe a bad movie ( i havent seen it n dnt want to either ) bt dor is an awesome movie ..

i guess u havent watched dor .. pls do watch it .. m sure u will like it .
