I have read and seen so much written about Jamie Spears, I'm wondering?!
Question: I have seen all the comments about this young girl and how she was such a role model etc., etc.
I'm wondering if her pregnancy isn't a 16 yr olds logic to get out of a life she doesn't want. Think about it: you have seen your older sister, who you adore, life being ripped apart. Your family has been destroyed by fame and fortune and your future seems like a carbon copy.
Would it not make sense at age 16, when you've got contracts and commitments that adults find hard to deal with, to realize that a pregnancy might solve all your problems. Think on it - you no longer can be considered a role model, the series you are contracted for may have to be cancelled as you are the star, but you couldn't be sued.
I'm just wondering if others have wondered, could this be a desperate act by a desperate CHILD stuck in an adult world. What do you think?

Tough question. She's stupid, but I guess things happen. Sometimes I wonder if the Hollywood crowd thinks their able to do whatever and nothing bad will happen. Driving badly, underage drinking, drugs....and now...what? I cant get preggers because I'm in the public eye and I have a tv show and so on and so on. She seemed very happy with her tv show, but family problems may have made her act alittle more reckless. The media has been on Brittney like crazy because...well....she is crazy. But I wonder if Jamie-Lynn didn't get pregnant just to get the spotlight away from her stressed out sister. But if that were the case, I don't think it worked. We're all like "Jamie-Lynn seemed like the normal one with a bright future..guess nobodys perfect. Now back to Brittney." I just hope that family can get the help they need. Its hard to see such talent from both of them go up in smoke because of bad choices. I DO think they grew up way way way toooooo soon though. Don't know if you'd consider that bad parenting or just the lifestyle of Hollywood. Everyone has their own opinion.

I don't know, but I think it's going to have a negative impact on her viewing audience. All of her 6 to 10 year old fans are going to see her and her smiling little face and some of the will think that having a baby at 16 is OKAY..

I think you are reading too much into it. She decided to have sex and ended up getting pregnant. I would be shocked if it was intentional. Look how much additional stress her sister's kids have caused Britney. Do you think she wants that? That would make her a carbon copy of her sister.
