beside just by letting her back on the show there like saying its ok to get pregnat as a teen thats soo stupid
they should have fired her

I am not trying to be rude either I am turning 16 and sure people do all this stuff because they think it is cool but its not. I think Jamie should stay on the show zoey 101... I mean think if u were her and u were pregnent.. would u want to be kicked out of the show or no??? Report It

  • I'm sure they did it for the bucks. Maybe they'll write it in the script.

First off, Nickelodeon is the network on which Zoey 101 airs on, and is not owned by Disney, but by Viacom and MTV Networks. Secondly they are not trying to promote teenage pregnancy but play a factor that it does occur. Accepting the idea is far better than denying it exists.

In response to krissybob98 is actually spelled Nickelodeon, we both spelled it wrong >_<

Also Zoey 101 airs during the Teenick segment of Nick which is solely aimed towards High School students and is at the discretion of the parent to monitor the child's viewing habits. Its just like Cartoon Network airs Adult Swim after 10pm.

monk3y's right. it's nickelodeon not disney.

life goes on... it's a good way o show that even when bad stuff happens, you need to pick up the pieces and move on

Now my daughter is nowhere near old enough to be watching Zoey-101, but if she were I wouldn't stop her from watching it. I thought that Jamie Lynn showed tremendous courage, and responsibility by admitting that she was pregnant. Unplanned pregnancies happen all the time, to girls much younger than JL, and to women twice her age.

I think it was very brave and noble of her to take responsibility for her actions in a time when abortion is so easily accessible. I think it presents a good opportunity for mothers to talk with their daughters about actions having consequences.

Purely in terms of JL, she is alot more mature then most girls of her age, because she has been working for so long. She can afford to have a baby, and is probably better equipped financially then some married couples. Emotionally and physically? Well only time will tell, some very young women rise to the challenge of becoming a mother, and throw their all into it, while some mature/married women find it is beyond their capabilities.

That said, Jamies personal life is just that - personal, it should have no bearing on her career (other than of course the fact that she will not be able to film when she is showing, because Zoey is not pregnant). I for one, am a parent who won't be boycotting Jamie Lynn.

Don't you poke fun on walt disney being dead
    he was a legend
    and its NICKELODEON
    not DISNEY

    1. it's nick
    2. why mess with a good moneymaking show
    3. it was filmed last summer so they have the entire season, why not use it
    4. it's just like when vanessa anne hudgens posed nude, if the networks dropped them everyone would say they are abandoning them
    5. nick is indirectly sending the message that it is not okay but they are willing to overlook it.

and the pregnancy won't ever be included in the show. they will just wait until she had the kid to film the next season.

Let me get this straight, you think she should be "fired" because she is a teen and is pregnant. Jeesh if that were the case, can you imagine how many Pregnant Teen Mothers would be on Unemployment and Welfare. I admire her for Not having an Abortion. Hopefully she will be alot more Responsible Parent and Mother than her Big Sister.

    im not surprised

Jamie Lynn isn't on Disney she's on Nickolodeon.

shes not even on disney. shes on nickalodeon.
