That's a heck of a lot of money to raise from one individual for charity. A great bloke that will be sadly missed. He also brought lot's of laughter to our TV screens.

not my cup of tea (as an entertainer presenter) he had a talent to be able to engage with the public in a non cofrotenol but still humourous kind of way unlike a lot of todays presenters
