I'm asking, does her decline mark the most closely watched person-on-the-edge that ever happened? I am so inundated with Brittney news everyday, I know more about her day than I do of my neighbor's.

I'm racking my brain to think of another example that is even close....the only one I could come up with is Wacko Jacko. His fall from grace was just as publicized and perhaps even more disturbing.
