I think it is another attempted intervention that her mom has done. Lynne has said that they had it planned all day to take Britney to the hospital to get help for her. Her family and friends are worried that she is going to do something crazy to hurt herself, so they felt like they had to intervene to save her. Hopefully, she will get diagnosed and get some treatment of some kind.

Her shrink had her committed on a form 5150 because she is showing signs of being a danger to herself and other people. Personally I think it's yet another desperate antic of a washed out has-been who's only talent these days is to come up with crazy antics to keep the paparazzi interested in her. I feel really sorry for her kids, they are the victims of her selfish behaviour.
