Mary Kate Olsen and Heath Ledger were friends. Heath had Mary-Kates phone number progammed on his cell phone. The massuese saw Mary Kates number on Heaths phone and called her asking her what to do thats how Mary Kate was connected to Heath. They were friends. Mary-Kate had nothing to do with Heath Ledgers death. Mary-Kate was in California the day Heath died

I believe that Mary-Kate was a close friend of Heath's. Whether they were dating or not, I don't know, but she was obviously really close to him because she was the first person his masseuse called after they found him dead.
