I discovered Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers when I moved from Chicago to Florida. All three of my children also grew up to his lyrics. Congratulations TOM & The Gang!

Yes, THEY ROCKED!! Tom Petty is a class act. A funny guy in real life, very talented as well with his great songwriting abilities.
I will say that Prince completely rocked last year as well. Check out this cool video of Prince, Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Geoff Lynne, George Harrison's son Dhanni, and others at the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
