You are going to get a million answers on this, so good luck, but here's my .02:
Albert King, has to be the greatest of all time. His style has influenced both black and white players from Otis Rush and Robert Cray to Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
It's important to note that while almost all modern blues guitarists seldom play for long without falling into a B.B. King guitar cliché, Albert King never does. He's had his own style and unique tone from the beginning.

Joe Satriani is influenced heavily by Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck and often incorporates a warm sound of guitar with a dominant blues and rock tone. He has worked with Steve Vai (they are good friends). Both Guitarists you mention are fantastic players, but not the MOST talented, as you have asked. There are a lot of great answers here in this thread.
