I think that she just had too much going on with her at once and it was more than she could take. With her marriage ending, the custody battle, her aunt dying, fighting with her mother, the paparazzi stalking her 24/7, and her sister getting pregnant.

yes she started young in show business, grew up and couldn't handle the pressure, so she became a ho realize everyone wants her for her body and Money then became f*ing crazy because of it...now she's committed in the psych ward
That's a good question! Probably started with marrying KFED and all the negative publicity it got her. All that negativity from the press, papparazzi, even the much wiser singers before her time, fans, etc. probably affected her mentally. LOL She was still a naive, "high school" girl lacking identity - even at the height of her fame. No one wants to have a ruined reputation at such a young age and just thinking of that can make anyone go postal!!!
A lot of people think the is bi-polar. Stuff has been happening for a long time with her. Some are now saying she has multiple personalities now as well. She is in the hospital now and they have extended her stay for 2 more weeks (beyond the 72 hour "5150" mental hold). They can do that if they determine you are a danger to yourself or others. I believe their reson was that her mental condition was "disabling". Now her lawyers are fighting over who should be in charge of her affairs, and all that legal mumbo jumbo. She probably just needs some medication and therapy. She needs to see the situation she's in so she can realize she needs to keep up on her (mental) health and take care of herself :(
