If the Super Bowl was not in FOX, neither of these losers would have been given the opportunity to perform! Paula is so drugged up that she couldn't even perform live- they had to show a pre-taped segment, which made me nauseous! Jordin who?? Does anyone even remember Jordin Sparks? How could any American lip-sync the National Anthem??? What a disgrace!! At least Clay Aiken would have sung live!!!!!!!!!!! (American Idol "jumped the shark" several seasons ago!)
That lip-syncing was almost as bad as Ashley Simpson!

As for Jordin Sparks, this is nothing new... they always use a pre-recorded track just in case of a malfunction.. and during a Superbowl you never know.
Paula was a no talent during her heyday back in the 80's. Twenty years didnt make it any better.
Paula's performance was not as bad as I thought she would be, but her voice was so altered that you know that she can't really sing. But really.. she complains about all this back or neck pain or whatever.. she couldn't have done that if she was really in that much pain.
And as for Jordin, yes she was lip-synching. The performers are required to lip-synch the anthem. Supposedly, since1993, the NFL doesn't want off notes to psych out the players..
nevertheless, her singing was still awesome.

however, whitney's was real. and it was spectacular.
It wasn't that bad...we can be soo critical. I think the song remixed could sound cool in a club. The dancing was a little slow but maybe it was choreographed that way because of Paula's pain. Regardless, she had a lot of guts to do it and I thought, in the words of Randy Jackson, that it was well...alright.
