Question: Oxy's? Was he in a bad car accident? I think Heath's family should sue some of these pill happy Dr's and Pharma companies. These drugs are dangerous. What do you think?

I find it hard to believe they were all current presciptions - his doctors would have been wary about mixing this lot all together.
The fact they say it was accidental, perhaps suggests the amounts of each taken were not (significantly) over the prescribed amount.
I still find it hard to believe that this was a deliberate overdose.
uh yea I have to agree with you on that. It's rediculous how many prescriptions he had in his system along with Oxycontin...it makes you think it possibly wasn't an accident but his family insists it was. I would be sueing a few doctors and pharmacists if I were them. I feel so bad for his daughter.
Heath should have read the labels on his prescription and known what amounts to take and what he could take with what. We want to blame others so bad, especially when something tragic happens, but the finger pointing goes to Mr. Heath Ledger. He should have been more responsible. Also, his family and close friends should be able to tell if he was acting different, due to overdosing on drugs or taking other drugs besides the prescription and maybe tried to intervene. But, the responsibility lies with the deceased.

no. there are some doctors who will give these Oxycontin to preferred patients (money can get you a lot by the way) but the average person who is in significant acute of pain has a very difficult time having these meds prescribed as doctors are already reticent of prescribing them as it is.
