Who is your favourite British stand-up comedian and why?!

Question: My personal favourite is Jack Dee, so dry and angry!! Fantastic.

Answers: My personal favourite is Jack Dee, so dry and angry!! Fantastic.

Jack Dee is mine too (honest). I love the way he doesn't smile and even thinking about his 'computers' sketch cracks me up.

Lee Evans as well.

Oh, I forgot...... Steve Coogan is FANTASTIC live! His stand up stuff made me release some wee wee !

Bill Bailey - he's very surreal at times.

So cathrine tate!

i like d granny!

i don't know if he is British or not but lee Evans is defiantly the best comedian ever born

I love Lee Evans he has so much energy and is absolutely hilarious

ross noble
because
he is a geniouse
so random
and clever
he thinks up all his jokes on the spot and he is verry witty
Legend !!

Al Murray, because most of his material is there and then as opposed to being rehearsed.

Harry Hill and Ben Elton

Gotta be ross noble. The guy comes on stage with (almost) nothing prepared and still has the audience in stiches!!
But, then and again I am a little bit bias cause im from round that area!
But oh my goodness, hes so funny. I went to see him and I actually cried!!
xxxx

Bob Monkhouse was mine, I was lucky enough to see him while he was doing the clubs and he was so sharp.

we live in america not england and thats why we got DANE COOK!

It would have to be Either Peter Kay, Russel Brand or Jimmy Carr! I like Jimmy Carr The most!

peter kay
lee evans

Russell Brand because his stand up style is unique in its campness. He's also very intelligent. I like the fact that he's totally upfront about his shady past.

I was gonne say Ross Noble, but i actually agree with the guy who said Bill Bailey. He is hilarious!! Soooooo funny on Never Mind The Buzzcocks!! I also love Peter Kay.

Russel Brand.
Pure comic genius.
Plus he is sooo Fit.

And he got by a hard childhood where he's so dif and indivisul he had no friends.

mmmm how do i choose between billy connely , jasper carrot , jethro, chubby brown , mike harding ......all funny as **** in their own way and humour , not sure i could choose ...............oh , did i forget ben elton ? lol im sure ive forgoten plenty more too , like peter cook and dudly moore , we have so many fantastic comedians becous our humor is soo varied , and we havnt started on the women yet ...........................................

jim davidson,,,, that should get me a few thumbs down

It used to be Billy Connolly but he has kind of lost it now.
I like Lee Evans, Bill Bailey and Dave Spikey. The young lad from the West Country who is often on Mock the Week is good too.

Mine is also Jack Dee. Please don't give Me any points, I'm not a suck up.

Al Murray
