Good question.....they really shouldnt classify it as an overdose but heres how it was explained to me:
Say you have 2 seperate medicines but they both have one of the same ingredients in it by mixing them it could cause an accidental overdose or say your on one med and on it your not suppossed to smoke but you have a cigarette the chain reaction from that could cause an overdose.Hope this helps.
People mix meds all the time causing problems. With the type of drugs he was taking its easy to understand how he could have become confused or possibly didnt think that it was really that dangerous. Unless he was intentionally trying to commit suicide, its usually called an accidental overdose. What else would you call a stupid mistake?
