I think it is actually cool because there is not hostility between the new and old spouses, it's awful for the kids to see the new and old not getting along.
yeah they were married to the same lady at various times. he is way too young and has a thing for one of his step daughters and it's going to be a big scandal.
however, ashton just turned 30 so maybe he was only at the birthday bash. who knows.
It's good they all get along,but also a bit unusal.(maybe they swap Demi stories)
