Look at what fame did to Britney Spears...?!

Question: Is it really worth becoming famous? If she wasn't famous then she wouldn't of acted like that. I feel so sorry for her, am i the ONLY one?!

I'm so happy to have a crappy thankless job. I know myself, like anyone else who answers this, clicked on it because they saw "Brittany Spears" in the title. I feel compelled because I hear about her almost every day on the radio or on the television. I saw someone post a "Lynn Spears Should of Had an Abortion" video on youtube, and it made me sick. It seems like so many people get their giggles by pointing out her diseases and disorders. Maybe, if everyone said a prayer, instead of knocking her every move, she'd get the help she deserves. Anyone who is ill deserves respect, privacy, confidentiality, and anonymity. I'd hate to be one of the people "throwing stones" because I for one, know I have many shortcomings. Fame seems to be one of the most horrible fates there is today. Although it still occured decades ago, the industries are such now that it is not only probable, but likely, to end in shambles. And the ones who bow out gracefully, never get brought up in the media as to be better images for the impressionable. I agree.

fame isn't what made her the way she is, there are plenty of famous people that don't wind up like that. and plenty of normal people who do. she obviously needs help, but she's in serious denial and being famous you think would help that cause but it doesn't seem to be.

she just wants attention

i feel sorry.....but i dont think it was fame i think it was the paparazzi

Chris Crocker feels that way too.

u go girl i hate being famous and poparatzee;s r dics i luv u

You can't say it was the fame that did it. It surely didn't help, but people with no fame have real problems too. Are there any famous people that have not had those kind of problems? Yes

Being famous should not be blamed, the people who become famous are.

Same thing can be said for drugs, the chemical is not evil, but the people using it are.

Wake up.

There are thousands of famous people who haven't behaved as she did.

What's happening to Britney is the result of poor parenting, poor management, too much of everything at too early of an age and a chemical imbalance (either natural or as a result of too many prescriptions).

Its not just fame, well, it might be partly but it doesnt mean everyone who is a Hollywood pop star is going to go crazy. Maybe shes had family problems or something or she just isnt feeling well at the moment

My guess is she has had mental problems for a very long time and being famous just brought them to the surface. Usually stress of some kind takes a mental illness to come out. That is why a lot of people get it between the age of 17 to 30 years old. Your body is going through so much and you are under a lot of stress at that time. Yes I do feel sorry for her, but I don't have to good of thoughts about her parents. I sure they mean well, but may not be doing the best for both their daughters.

I feel really sorry for her , we don't know what sort of childhood she had and if that had anything to do with her current behaviour . I saw her interviewed several years ago and she appeared not to understand the questions put to her. She acted like she had been drugged and was acting very odd. Lets hope she gets the help she needs.

i kno, its truely sick, and not worth it!
